Salma Hayek was recently in Sierra Leone and she breastfed a newborn baby who's mother was not producing milk.
Salma:
“The baby was perfectly healthy, but the mother didn’t have milk. He was
very hungry. I was weaning Valentina, but I still had a lot of milk that I was
pumping, so I breast-fed the baby. You should have seen his eyes. When he felt
the nourishment, he immediately stopped crying.”
The video above shows her feeding the baby in Sierra Leone. Many women are discouraged from breastfeeding by their husbands because it's thought a woman cannot have sexual relations if they are feeding.
