There was no "deadly weapon" involved in the incident. There was an UMBRELLA found in the car but Chris must have though about all the jokes it would cause before he picked it up 'cause it wasn't used in the assault.
TMZ says that body parts such as a foot can be considered a deadly weapon.
Also their police source says that Rihanna had contusions and bite marks on her body.
Who bites? What is he a toddler? Who assaults their girlfriend period really but biting...come on now.

It's been confirmed that Rihanna was the victim of the Chris Brown assault.
That's not shocking, we pretty much knew that but what is shocking is that she was "assaulted with a deadly weapon".
He was charged with making criminal threats not domestic abuse which according to TMZ is worse and carries a lot longer of a jail sentence.
Given there were allegedly visible injuries, the crime of making criminal
threats is punishable by up to nine years in prison. Domestic abuse is four
years.
It's not known what the deadly weapon was.
The picture below is of them leaving Clive Davis' party, about 30 minutes before the fight.
