Before my heart grew cold I used to watch Extreme Home Makeover and this one family really stood out to me. The Vardon's.
They have two sons one, Lance, who is Autistic and blind, the other son is healthy but helps the family stay afloat. Both parents are deaf.
The design team came in and built them a new home that was equipped for their special needs and all was well.
The father may lose his job at the Chrysler Plant in Detroit and they are drowning in medical bills. Because of the medical bills they have had to refinance the house and their mortgage is now double what it was before. It looks as though they may lose the house.
There's no happy ending yet, hopefully ABC can reach into their pockets again and help out the Vardons.

With the title of the post I thought you were going to tell us they were fakes and scammed everydody. This is such bad news and I feel so bad....So many stories at this time of year that make me feel bad and that's why I don't like it very much.
Yeah the oldest was the only one without a disability.
There wasn't any information about donations or anything but since the story hit the press I bet you ABC will do something, pay off their mortgage I assume.
They were so deserving but beyond that they were so greatful.
