Mark Ruffalo's brother, Scott Ruffalo, was shot in the head after an altercation at his Beverly Hills apartment on Monday.

"...cops are trying to determine if anything criminal went down --
meaning they haven't ruled out an accidental shooting or a suicide
attempt."

Scott is currently "clinging to life".
