Meet the new Dora The Explorer.
Mattel is launching a tween version of Dora who will "expand into the world of solving mysteries that have overt and relatable pro-social themes -- like volunteerism, water conservation, or planting trees to help the environment."
Anyone who has children in their lives knows Dora in all her repetitive glory, her and Boots are BFF's and swpier is their arch nemesis. I assume the new Dora has traded Boots in for a anorexic best friend who's a cutter and swiper's looking to swipe something completely different.
Stay tuned for middle aged Dora who's lost all hope in breaking in to the business and NOW trades her magic stars for crack.
