50th Annual Grammy Awards
The Grammys were last night and considering how much I hate the Grammys this year didn't really make me want to stick my finger into my eye.
It opened with Alicia Keys singing a duet with Frank Sinatra (on screen). The song, Learning The Blues, the performance, amazing. Click here to watch.
Amy Winehouse almost swept. She won 5 out of the six categories she was nominated in. She won record of the year, song of the year, best new artist and pop female vocal performance and lost out to Herbie Hancock for Album of the year.
Her acceptance speach where she gave her husband Blake a shout out was fabulous. You've got to love it when someone thanks someone who's "incarcerated"...it kinda makes my night.
Click here to watch her performance, and here to catch the shout out.
