The Diva's Face Off

The war of words between Aretha Franklin (The Queen Of Soul) and Beyonce's Camp all started the day after the Grammys when Aretha complained about Beyonce announcing Tina Turner as The Queen. Her statement:
"I am not sure of whose toes I may have stepped on or whose ego I may have bruised between the Grammy writers and Beyoncé, however I dismissed it as a cheap shot for controversy. In addition to that, I thank the Grammys and the voting academy for my 20th Grammy and love to Beyoncé anyway."
Beyonce's father responded with:
"Something this ridiculous – it's childish, it's unprofessional, and it's a sad day when egos get bruised because somebody used the word king, queen, prince or princess."
I'm not a big fan of either of them so I don't really give a rats, but Aretha does, and I'm pretty sure she could take Beyonce so she'd better sleep with one eye open.
