John Stewart made me laugh a couple times throughout the Show and all in all I thought his hosting was good.
The big winners were
Best Motion Picture: No Country for Old Men
Best Performance By An Actor In A Leading Role: Daniel Day-Lewis in There Will Be Blood
Best Performance By An Actress In A Leading Role: Marion Cotillard in La Vie en Rose
Best Performance By An Actor In A Supporting Role: Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men
Best Performance By An Actress In A Supporting Role: Tilda Swinton in Michael Clayton
Achievement In Directing: Joel Coen and Ethan Coen for No Country for Old Men
Marion Cotillard accepting her award was a highlight because she, among others, were genuinely surprised. She was so humble and happy.

My favorite moment was when two unknowns Glen Hansard and Marketa Irglova won Best Original Song for Falling Slowly which was featured in the movie Once.
The movie was shot in Dublin, Ireland over a three week period. Click here to watch them perform last night.
The music came on and Marketa didn't have a chance to speak so they were ushered off the stage and we they went to commercial. When the show came back John Stewart called her back and offered his mic so she could have a chance to say her speech.
Very nice.
