So?

Us Weekly made Suri their cover girl this week.

It’s all about being positive and supportive,” says the couple’s friend (Hubbard advised parents to “try to be the child’s friend.”) As for discipline, one former church member tells Us that Scientologists do not scold their children, but instead explain that bad behavior (like throwing a toy) is the “wrong action.” (A Scientology rep tells Us, “How a parent disciplines their child is left up to the parent.”)

Suri pretty much does whatever she wants, whenever she wants. If she fusses before bed, they let her stay up later. If they want her to go swimming and she cries, they’ll take her out. If she whines about food, they’ll ask her what else she wants to eat. They always want to please her.”

That's a really juicy story. I don't have kids but this sounds like the way I would parent other than the occasional beating I'd be giving.

I would try not to yell but rather explain and yeah if my kid wasn't gonna eat something I would ask them what they wanted. Lastly if my kids crying because she's in the water I'm not gonna let her ass drown...I'm gonna pick her up!

In conclusion...I HEART TOMKAT.

i agree with everything except the food part, in my house the child would eat what was made - i would just be sure not to go crazy with spices while cooking

See I'm a picky eater so I can understand a kid not wanting to eat something...I would be a bit leanient on that.
