"An Indian court has issued an arrest warrant for Richard Gere over a public kiss he gave to Bollywood star Shilpa Shetty earlier this month.
Gere, 57, took Shetty, 31, in his arms, smooched her several times on the cheek and dipped her in a tango-style dance move during a public HIV-awareness event in New Delhi. "
Indian courts are calling the kiss "transgressed all limits of vulgarity" and that he violated the country's public obscenity laws. Gere can face up to 3 months in prison.

Apparently she is taking a lot of heat for this as well as the powers that be say she went along with it too much.
yeah she relesaed a statement saying she was not pleased that this incident is what's getting the attention and not the AIDS Epidemic they were trying to raise awareness for.
