Lucy Lui is in New York filming a pilot that's supposed to be the new generations "Sex and the City". It's called "Cashmere Mafia" and is about 4 women living and working in NYC. They help each other cope with the day to day drama of relationships, careers and just life in general. Sounds pretty much the same.
SATC was edgy and touched on issues that can't be topped. It went inside the heads of woman and talked about things that normally never leave the conversations had on monthly girls nights. I don't know if it can be outdone.
We'll see.
