Night For Malawi
Madonna and Gucci hosted " Night For Malawi " which was a celebrity encrusted bash for the purpose of raising money for Unicef and Malawi. They managed to raise 3.7 million dollars.

BRITNEY UPDATE
After Adnan met up with Britney the two headed to Adam Streisand's Century City office. Streisand is the lawyer who tried to strip Jamie Spears of his conservatorship but was denied because he couldn't prove that Britney retained him as her council.
Understandable Britney's parents are frustrated and concerned. They released this statement to CNN.
"As parents of an adult child in the throws (sic) of a mental health crisis, we were extremely disappointed this morning to learn that over the recommendation of her treating psychiatrist, our daughter Britney was released from the hospital that could best care for her and keep her safe. We are deeply concerned about our daughter's safety and vulnerability and we believe her life is presently at risk. There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded. We ask only that the court's orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted."
TMZ claims Jamie's going to court to jack up his rights as her Conservator. He would be able to control the people who visit her and who she comes in contact with (she was driving around with Felipe The Paparazzi last night). He can also stop her from buying stuff like last night's hotel room.
Anyone who ignores the conservators wishes could be held in contempt.

Britney Update
Britney Spears was out of the hospital for four hours when she headed to the Beverly Hills Hotel. CLICK HERE to watch some crazy footage of Brit's constant contact with the paparazzi who have proved they will go to any length to get the shot.
According to x17, Britney's at the Beverly Hills Hotel meeting with her lawyer and business manager Howard Grossman. Adnan Ghalib has also just shown up and is also in the room with them.
X17 also claims Jamie Spears is sending the police to the hotel to pick up Britney because he's still her conservator.
Britney's Out!
Britney Spears has been released from UCLA Medical Centre. The doctors claim she was no longer a risk to herself or others so they could not hold her against her will. Because she was so co-operative the 14 day hold was lifted and she was sent home.
TMZ confirmed that Britney, after being home for not very long, pulled out of her driveway in her new black Mercedes. She's back on the road.

The Daily Mail is reporting that David Beckham and Posh are planning on adopting a baby from Sierra Leone.
"It was only when David started planning his trip to Sierra Leone that they began talking about adoption again. It's clear they both think adoption is great. "
Tom (Cruise) has talked to David about how adoption changed him and how he's been able to change the lives of two amazing children."
They are reportedly looking for a little girl to round off their family.

Bye Bye Toronto
The Spice Girls are seen above at Toronto's Pearson International Airport boarding a flight headed towards New York.
The spice girls recently announced they will be cutting their tour short.
“We have children. Kids need to go back to school and we’ve always said that our families are our priorities so we want to thank all of our fans. Sorry we haven’t got to see everybody. We had a great time.”

I forgot about Sporty Spice when I said that being on this tour with all these kids would drive me up the wall. Sporty doesn't have kids, leaving more room for her to shop (see the bags instead of drooling child).

The restraining order documents have surfaced against Sam Lutfi, Britney's "friend" and handler during the period in her life where she hit rock bottom.

Lynn speaks of the night she showed up to Britney's house just after she had been crying on the curb outside her gates. She claims Sam is controlling Britney, has cut off her phones, and is also drugging her. He told Lynn and her friend that the doctor was trying to get her into a sleep induced come in order to "heal her brain". He tells her she's a whore and trash and that she doesn't deserve her kids.
Finally, Sam said to Lynn "If you try to get rid of me, she'll be dead and I'll piss on her grave."
