I am a firm believer that children should not be allowed to travel until they are 10. Before that they are just annoying, not only for me as a fellow passenger but for the parents as well.
No, I don't think it's cute that your child has learned the song that never ends on a 6 hour flight to the UK. Put that shite to rest.
Geri Halliwell seems to have a handle/hood on the situation though. Just drag the little bastards around until they break down and give up. If that doesn't work there's always Benadryl with crushed Gravol.

Aw man - I know first hand how terible it is - I think a petition should be started about the no travelling under 10 rule. And no Jana I wouldn't be smiling either
