PETA Goes To Far

PETA tried to run this ad that compares the gruesome and tragic decapitation of Tim McLean to the slaughter of animals for food.

22 year old McLean was viciously attacked by Vince Weiguang Li on a Greyhound Bus travelling from Edmonton to Winnipeg in Canada's west coast. After being stabbed and slashed many times McLean was beheaded and according to passengers his attacker committed acts of cannibalism. The attack was unprovoked and the two did not know each other.

Peta's website :

"While it isn't every day that a human is violently attacked and eaten by
another human, it's worth noting that it is the norm for many people not to give
any thought to the fact that restaurants are serving flesh that comes from
innocents who were minding their own business before someone came after them
with a knife."

Using the brutal death of a young man to push their agenda is above and beyond any lengths PETA has ever taken.

It's inexcusable.

DISGUSTING! MOST ANIMALS ARE RAIDSED TO BE FOOD (ALTHOUGH SOME PEOPLE DON'T THINK THAT IS RIGHT). THIS POOR MAN WAS TRAVELLING HOME TO HIS FAMILY AND THIS HORROBLE THING HAPPENED TO HIM. TO COMPARE HIS TRAGIC DEATH TO THAT OF AN ANIMAL IS REALLY LOWE AND I AM DISGUSTED.

i AM SORRY IF THSI OFFENDS NON ANIMAL EATING PEOPLE BUT THIS IS MY GUT REACTION.

i agree that this is beyond low. it's inexcusable. everyone knows how strongly peta feels about animal rights, there is no need to compare this tragedy to how some animals are slaughters. there's seriously no need, especially so soon after his death. i hope his family sues peta

These PETA people are nutty and hypocrites too. Penn & Teller outted them. The video is great. Don't get me wrong I love animals but these people just go too far. This is plain mean and insensitive.
