Daniel Day Lewis accepted the award for Male Actor in a Leading Role for his performance in There Will Be Blood.
In his acceptance speech he claimed many actors gave him "regeneration" and it's the work of other actors that makes him get back into the "arena one more time with longing and self doubt". He says Heath Ledger was one of the actors.
Daniel continued to praise Heath's body of work and ultimately dedicates his award to Heath.
