It's come to light that Shia LeBeouf was not at fault for the accident that put him in hospital. The Sheriff's office tells US,
"The other car ran a red light and, if not already, they will be cited. They will now be listed as Party One on the report, indicating they were at fault."
Although not at fault, Shia's misdemeanor DUI charges still stand, so even though he didn't cause the accident he was still driving drunk.
