When Celebs Do Good

Cuba Gooding Jr. was out to pick up dinner for his family when he collided with a gun shot victim.

"The actor, who stars in the upcoming Hero Wanted with Ray Liotta, was sitting in his car outside the restaurant "when he heard four gunshots," a source tells the paper.

According to the source, Gooding, 39, "saw a young kid holding his head and walked toward him. The kid was bleeding from his neck and collapsed." The actor cradled the victim and called into the restaurant for towels, Gooding's rep confirms.

After stemming the bleeding, he flagged down a passing police car and waited with the injured young man until an ambulance arrived. "

I always liked this guy.

Great actor for certain roles and a good sport to boot. I love the celebrity hockey ang golf he does....He sucks at them both but is always there entertaining the crowd. That's a big step up, I wouldn't know what to do in the situation and woud probably just freeze.
