Blohan has released this statement following news that she ha entered rehab.
"I have made a proactive decision to take care of my personal health. I appreciate your well wishes and ask that you please respect my privacy at this time. "
and here's qhat her cokehead mother has to say about it:
"I'm so proud of her. She's really in a good place right now, spiritually and mentally. She's in an amazing, phenomenal place. She's 20 and she's solid, and she's doing what she needs to do. I don't know that many people who are that secure. It's all about her, and getting back on track. She's fine -- she's amazingly fine. "
In a way I think this is shite. All these people around Lindsay enable this dependent Hollywood lifestyle...AA ...Rehab. When in reality she 20. When I was 20 my blood alcohol level was at a steady 2.0 at everypoint of the day. Lindsay has no children (unlike some blonde party girls) and is young. Live it up have a good time. Just keep your underwear on and try to make good decisions.
Then there's the other part of me who thinks your a ticking timebomb and mabey you should get that checked out sooner rather than later.

Who knows what in the hell she is up to but on some level she obviously thinks it's out of control to join rehab..
I seriusly can't imagine what is offered or easily accessible to them..I do know that if I were a yuong socialite it would be a liftime of AA and in and out of rehab for me..Dodged a bullet there ; )
I know but I also don't think she's hitting the pipe either. i just think rehab is useless for someone her age. I don't think she has the maturity to even see what a life without all the fogginess of drugs and alcohol can give you at this point. I hope she gets out of it and stays clean but I just don't think it will happen. She's too young and too impresionable, she'll be back at it in no time.

I say she should give it another 10-15 years of drunken-ass, drugged out parties and then call it a day after that..
With a family like hers I'd want to be drunk all the time too.
