Nicole Richie made her first public appearance since DUIgate 2006. Also, some of her friends are speaking up for her :
"She knows she made a mistake, but overall she's in a better place," says a close friend of Richie. "She has come a long way from her heroin days."
The celebutante is said to be upset over media reports that she's addicted to pills, and is insisting to friends that she only "occasionally" takes Vicodin once a month at the start of her menstruation cycle.'
Vicodin for cramps? What happened to good ole Midol? Next thing you know peeps are gonna be using heroin to aide the common cold.

First things first BUD men should not comment on cramps, not a very fun time for us either..These people say the biggest load of shite whenever they get caught doing the wrong things..
Uh Bud, it's bad enough that we have the cramps and all that goes along with it - but when guys make comments like "try being the guy that lives BLAH BLAH BLAH" it can certainly get ugly - I'll bet if you told the person causing you all the stress when she's PMSing to give you a good swift kick you know where it would make her feel a whole lot better and you could live in peace ;)
