i got two stitches in the tip of my middle finger last year and that shit hurts!!!!! the freezing, and the recovery...way too many nerves in your fingers to be getting stitches in them :S anyways, the point of this comment is to give pink some credit cause it's more painful then a broken bone!
A band saw Jana, it's a big machine...very big very loud with a huge blade on it....In order to cut your finger on it you would have to be quite.....Well I leave the rest to your imagination....Not like it's something you couldn't see coming or anything though...

A bandsaw is a tricky thing kids. Although it has a safety guard you still have to be carefull . I learned that the hard way...
