  5. If it makes you feel better, I wish I was up there in the summer when the heat index is 105 for weeks on end.

  6. Dhoop, don't be rubbing stuff in. You're playing golf and I am freezing and taking 40 minutes to get to work on what is suppose to be a ten minute drive

  7. K,
Summers really are brutal down here and they last forever. It is probably nice during the summer up there. Hey, and put some clothes on. They keep you warm!

  8. Have you lived down there your whole life? Maybe that's what it is.....to me it can never be too hot. Up here is just getting ugly right now.....They are calling for 50 more cm of snow by Monday afternoon. People forget how to drive around here if it rains for christ sakes so snow is a whole other mess completely.

I want to live in Australia and I want to leave now!

  9. Shit fire! 19 inches. My advice...stay home with your sweetie.

Yes, I have lived here forever. I know what you mean about drivers and rain. I did work in Chicago for a couple of months in the winter and it was crazy. I was totally unprepared...no socks, no gloves etc. When is gets cold (40 degrees) here now I have gloves, scarves and earmuffs. Maybe in my old age I am just get more sensitive to the weather. Lived in Southern Cal for awhile and the weather was perfect.

Come down next August and tell me it is never too hot. Oh yeah, don't forget about those pesky hurricanes.

You could go out and make snow angels...better take some Mad Dog first ;-)

  10. Oh, oh, oh,

    It is Keith's birthday...65!

Years ago the Stones played an impromptu concert at a club up there years ago? I've heard that Toronto has a lot of cool clubs.

  11. We do have a lot of cool clubs.
I think it was the Horseshoe Tavern they played at. That is a great place to see a live band.
